Strawberry Hill House is internationally renowned as one of the best examples of Georgian Gothic architecture. Enjoy a guided tour of Horace Walpole's architectural masterpiece exploring the history, interiors and stories of its residents.

Summer Sounds at Strawberry Hill House: picnic, Pimm's and toe-tapping tunes
Enjoy a relaxing summer evening listening to talented and uplifting bands in the beautiful gardens at Strawberry Hill House. What better way to end a busy weekend than to unwind with a glass of bubbly or minty Pimm’s with family and friends whilst enjoying a picnic and music tailored to suit the mood.
The Swing Ninjas: Sunday 25 August
Drawing on elements of New Orleans swing, spirituals, blues, cajun and jazz, all influenced by the UK new swing movement, The Swing Ninjas are a band you will want to dance to. Any live show is high energy, full of humour, passion and grooves that guarantee dancing across the ages.

Time: 4pm - 7.30pm
Gate opens at 3.45pm, with the performance starting at 4.45pm.
4.45pm - 5.30pm – first session
6pm - 6.45pm – second session
Refreshments, including Pimm's, prosecco, snacks and ice cream will be available to purchase from the Garden Café. You may like to arrive a little early to browse the unique and hand-made gifts and cards in our shop.

The five-acre garden at Strawberry Hill House has been, as far as possible, restored to its original appearance using Eighteenth Century maps and paintings as well as Walpole’s own writing. Enjoy a guided tour of Horace Walpole's garden created to compliment his Gothic castle.

Strawberry Hill Flower Festival Tour and Talk
Friday 13 September, Doors open at 6.30 with talk and demonstration at 8pm
An evening tour followed by a demonstration and talk with Royal florist Simon Lycett. Tour the festival and then relax in the Gallery with a glass of fizz and listen to Simon who will be showcasing some amazing arranging inspired by the seasons and the spectacular setting of Strawberry Hill. Expect some unexpected combinations of colours, plant materials and all sustainably arranged - A Feast of Floral Fabulousness!
Since 1993 when Simon was asked to arrange flowers for Four Weddings and a funeral his spectacular floristry has been in high demand. His list of high-profile clients is synonymous with glamour. Simon has also worked on television and in 2023 was included in BBC’s Maestro line up. Simon and his team continue to create floral fabulous in venues across the UK and beyond.
